Ventless Fireplace

A ventless fireplace is a great idea if you want to get rid of the hassles of a real wood burning fireplace, but enjoy the same feeling and warmth.  This fireplace looks, and feels just like a real one.  Instead of it burning wood, it burns multiple tins of gel.  Therefore, you don’t need to have a chimney for this type of fireplace which can be a huge advantage.  Forget about worrying about ashes and sparks going all over your living room and causing possible damage, and forget about cleaning the fireplace after every use.  With one of these,  you don’t have to worry about any of the above at all.

Another cool thing about having a ventless fireplace is that some manufacturers make portable ones.  You are probably thinking…no way, does that really mean its portable and you can move it around the room as you please?  Absolutely, some of the models can be moved to different sections of your home or apartment as you please, without having to worry about it being integrated into a chimney.  So, wherever the party is in your house, just move the fireplace right next to everyone and enjoy the warmth and comfort that it provides!

You can also adjust the intensity of the flames on a lot of these models easily just by using the regulator burning box that it comes with.  What happens when you increase the intensity is that the tins of gel actually combine with one another to become one large tray of burning fuel. A lot of the models come with a nice floor board for the fireplace which provides a nice design, and also allows for a greater heat radius, which is always a plus in my book.  So if you are deciding whether a wood burning, or a ventless fireplace is best for you, take into consideration the features I listed for you above, and go with what you feel suits you and your household the best.  I personally think a portable ventless one is the way to go, being able to move it around the house wherever you please is a really cool feature if you ask me!
